Which ever option you choose, Morleys will assist your family with all necessary arrangements.
Our Chapel, situated at The Lakes, Townsville, features a beautifully furnished, air-conditioned venue which seats 160 with an overflow area for an additional 80 seats.
The Chapel overlooks a tranquil lake, and complete with gardens, offers a very peaceful setting. We are able to provide music from our collection or you are welcome to provide your own music for the service if desired. We also offer audio visual equipment so that family photos and videos can be displayed during the service if required. The service can also be video or audio taped.
Twilight or early evening services can be arranged if required. This is a beautiful time of day and can be an alternative and practical option. For twilight services your loved one would usually be laid to rest the following day.
Morleys has facilities to provide several levels of after-service refreshments which may include tea, coffee, fruit juice, with biscuits, cakes, sandwiches and hot food. Some charges may apply.
The after-service refreshments are most appropriate if there is no cortege to the place of interment or cremation, however, we will endeavour to accommodate any of your preferences
